Teach your assistant about your business
Updated
Your assistant answers only from what you give it: your pages, your documents and your business profile. It doesn't make up prices or opening hours. If it doesn't know, it says so and points the visitor to you.
Everything below is in your project under Chat → Knowledge. The live chat next to it lets you test answers as you go.
Add pages from your website
Paste a page's address and choose Add page. Good pages to add are the ones visitors ask about: services, prices, opening hours, delivery, FAQs, about us.
Pages are read again regularly, so when you change your website, your assistant catches up on its own. You can also refresh a page straight away.
Upload documents
Under Documents, choose files to upload: a price list, a menu, a brochure, your terms. You can add several at once. The status of each one shows in Sources while it's processed.
Scanned PDFs (pictures of pages) can't be read yet. Use a PDF with real text, or a Word document.
Fill in your business profile
The profile holds the facts your assistant should always get right: your name, address, phone, opening hours, what you offer, and common questions with your answers. Much of it is filled in for you from your pages; check it and correct anything that's wrong.
Website readiness shows what's missing for your site to be found by search engines and AI assistants, section by section.
Test the answers
Ask the live chat the questions your customers ask. If an answer is wrong or missing, the fix is almost always in the knowledge: add the page that has the answer, or put it in the profile, then ask again.
How many pages and documents you can add depends on your plan; see Pricing.
